Services may include, but are not limited to, lighting installation, lighting repairs, electrical troubleshooting, LED upgrades, parking lot lighting, commercial lighting services, maintenance, and related electrical work.
All services are subject to availability, site conditions, applicable codes, permitting requirements, and final approval by Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist.
Estimates and Quotes
Any estimate or quote provided by Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist is based on the information available at the time it is given. Estimates may change if additional issues are discovered, the scope of work changes, materials increase in cost, or site conditions differ from what was originally described or observed.
A quote does not become final until it has been approved by both the customer and Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist.
Scheduling and Access
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, electrical systems, fixtures, panels, equipment, and work areas necessary to complete the requested service.
Scheduled service times may be affected by weather, material availability, emergency calls, traffic, permitting delays, or other circumstances outside of our control. Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes when they occur.
Payments
Payment terms will be provided before work begins or listed on the invoice. Payment may be required before, during, or after completion of work depending on the type and size of the project.
Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees, collection efforts, service suspension, or other remedies allowed by law. Customers are responsible for any returned payment fees, collection costs, or legal fees related to unpaid invoices where permitted by law.
Materials and Products
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist may provide fixtures, lamps, wiring, controls, electrical components, or other materials as part of a project. Product availability, pricing, warranties, and specifications may vary by manufacturer or supplier.
If a customer provides their own materials or fixtures, Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist is not responsible for product defects, missing parts, compatibility issues, manufacturer failures, or warranty claims related to customer-supplied items.
Changes to Scope of Work
Any changes requested after a project has been approved may result in additional charges. This includes changes to labor, materials, equipment, permits, design, timing, access, or project requirements.
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist reserves the right to pause work until change orders, updated estimates, or additional approvals are completed.
Permits and Code Compliance
Certain electrical or lighting projects may require permits, inspections, or approval from local authorities. When applicable, Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist will discuss permitting needs with the customer.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate property information and cooperating with any permitting or inspection process. Work may be delayed if permits, inspections, or approvals are required.
Safety
Electrical work can be hazardous. Customers, tenants, employees, pets, and other individuals should stay clear of active work areas unless instructed otherwise.
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist reserves the right to stop or delay work if unsafe conditions are present, including unsafe access, hazardous materials, damaged structures, exposed wiring, weather conditions, or any situation that may create a risk to our team, customers, or property.
Warranties
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist may provide workmanship warranties on certain services. Manufacturer warranties may also apply to eligible products or materials.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, neglect, weather events, power surges, vandalism, customer-supplied materials, unauthorized repairs, pre-existing electrical issues, normal wear and tear, or conditions outside of our control.
Specific warranty terms may vary by project and should be confirmed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption, loss of use, or delays caused by circumstances outside of our control.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.
Existing Conditions
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, faulty wiring, outdated electrical systems, code violations, structural issues, water damage, pest damage, or other problems not caused by our work.
If existing issues are discovered during service, additional work may be recommended or required before the original scope of work can be completed safely.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide reasonable notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered, crews have been dispatched, or project preparation has begun may be subject to fees.
Brothers Lighting & Electrical Specialist reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather, safety concerns, emergencies, material delays, staffing issues, or other circumstances outside of our control.
